  • Welcome
Welcome to my community!

  • Welcome to Bart's Hobby Shack
Hope you enjoy the site. Registering is free so get it done. Donations are appreciated. It dose take some time and money to build and upkeep this facility. It will now cost $2.00 to race for the day here at the Shack. Expenses aren't getting any cheaper. If you would like to pay an annual $20 fee and race for free, you are more than welcome to do that in the donations section through PayPal

Post in the 'Introduce Yourself' board first so we can get to know you better. viewforum.php?f=22

We are striving to make the Shack everything RC'ers would want. If you have any suggestions for the site, or the Shack, let us know here viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2

We offer technical advice on just about anything RC. We have quite a few years experience between all of us so ask away and we'll be happy to help.

If you're looking for the facility it is at 3881 Mohler Rd. Center Point, IA 52213

The BHS Team

TRACK CONDITIONS:
Track is faster and bigger. Lot of fun! It's still very SC friendly. But not as mild for buggies/truggies. Come try it out before the "S" word starts flying.

IaROCK Announcements:

OK boys and girls,

IaROCK is putting a new spin on the summer competitions. We will be doing a summer points series with competitions on the 2nd Saturday of each month starting in April and ending in September.

Here is how the points series gonna work...

Each comp will consist of 3 courses per class. Your combined score from all three courses will be logged into the "Sic 'Em" Summer Series points total. The driver to finish the series in September with the lowest score will be the WINNER.

There will be some nice prizes and trophies for the top 3 drivers of each class.

We will be running a 2.2 class, 2.2 Sportsman class and 1.9 class at each event in the series.

2.2 Class
This class is open to all types of 2.2 crawlers.
All crawlers must meet the 2.2 class requirements set forth by the USRCCA.
ALL crawlers WILL go through the Tech-In Process before EACH comp.

2.2 Sportsman***
This class will be shaft driven crawlers ONLY with NO DIG.
All crawlers must meet the 2.2 class requirements set forth by the USRCCA.
ALL crawlers WILL go through the Tech-In Process before EACH comp.

1.9 Class
This class will be open to all 1.9 crawlers.
All crawlers must meet the 1.9 class requirements set forth by the USRCCA.
ALL crawlers WILL go through the Tech-In Process before EACH comp.

***Now, if you got a bad a$$ shafty with a DIG then you must compete in the regular 2.2 class. You may however, unplug the DIG and run in the Sportsman class. You will also be allowed to run in either class during the series, but not on the same day.
